This product is so rich when it first comes of out the bottle. It does not take much product at all to cover all of my hair which is below my shoulders. This was a surprise to me because this bottle will last a long time. This curl activating crème helps create soft, defined curls that stay that way all day long. I live in Washington state which has a lot of moisture in the air, not exactly the perfect environment for people with curly hair. Prive Curl Activating Crème provides a strong hold that is frizz free, soft and manageable.
This product is enriched with Evening Primrose oil, Lemongrass extract, and Chamomile. This provides an amazing smell that is strong but not overpowering. The other key ingredients include Dimethicone and Isohexadecane. I had no idea what those ingredients are so I did some research.
Dimethicone basically forms a film which smoothes hair all the way down to the cuticle. Isohexadecane is often used because it is non-greasy or tacky feel and smoothes hair. Both of these ingredients contribute to this products rich, smooth and frizz free effect on hair.
