When I first read the name of this product, Relaxing Gel, my first thought was "Well I am not looking to relax my curls, I want to define them." I was still excited to try this product however so after washing and conditioning my hair I applied a generous amount and styled as I normally do. I let my hair air dry and right away noticed that it did not relax my curls instead it gave my hair a soft and manageable curl. I did not need to use as much product as I did the first time around. This product goes a long ways and even though I used more than needed my hair did not feel sticky and stiff the way it often does with other gel products.
Prive Relaxing Gel is enriched with Chamomile and Lemongrass which smell amazing and work wonders for your hair. The other key ingredients include Cranesbill and Witch Hazel. I had never heard of Cranesbill before using this product. Cranesbill helps to restore shine and it also protects your hair from damage. Witch Hazel helps to smooth hair and reduce frizz.
I am so excited to continue using this product. This two-in-one relaxing gel can also be used for straightening hair. Though I don't attempt that very often, I am curious to see the results with this product. I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for soft, manageable and frizz free hair.

This product is so rich when it first comes of out the bottle. It does not take much product at all to cover all of my hair which is below my shoulders. This was a surprise to me because this bottle will last a long time. This curl activating crème helps create soft, defined curls that stay that way all day long. I live in Washington state which has a lot of moisture in the air, not exactly the perfect environment for people with curly hair. Prive Curl Activating Crème provides a strong hold that is frizz free, soft and manageable.
This product is enriched with Evening Primrose oil, Lemongrass extract, and Chamomile. This provides an amazing smell that is strong but not overpowering. The other key ingredients include Dimethicone and Isohexadecane. I had no idea what those ingredients are so I did some research.
Dimethicone basically forms a film which smoothes hair all the way down to the cuticle. Isohexadecane is often used because it is non-greasy or tacky feel and smoothes hair. Both of these ingredients contribute to this products rich, smooth and frizz free effect on hair.
